Publication Fees and Editorial Independence
Publication fees support the administration of peer review, editorial and production services, DOI registration, digital publication, long-term archiving and preservation, and the continued development of KODISA Foundation journals.
After necessary publishing and operating expenses are covered, the remaining proceeds are reinvested in the KODISA Foundation’s public-interest academic activities, including research grants, scholarships, academic conferences, and research ethics education.
Publication fees are charged only after a manuscript has successfully completed the peer-review process and has been formally accepted for publication. The payment or non-payment of any publication fee has no influence on editorial evaluation, peer review, acceptance, or publication decisions. All editorial decisions are made independently on the basis of scholarly quality, methodological rigor, originality, research integrity, and relevance to the aims and scope of the journal.
