  • Publishing and Authorship Acknowledgement

  • Article 1 (Purpose)

The Korea Distribution Science Association (hereinafter referred to as KODISA) aims to guide researchers to mark their findings unfairly by setting the scope that researchers can recognize when presenting them as papers.

Article 2 (Definition of Terms for Authors)

    1. The term "Author" refers to a researcher who has made an important intellectual contribution related to the creation of the research paper.

    2. Coercive Authoring is sometimes included in honorary authors in a large category, but the biggest difference is that the impetus to include the parties in the author list is included in the author's position due to external forces.

    3. Honorable author is mostly the superior or supervisor of the main author, and in most cases, the author in charge of the paper voluntarily writes it.

    4. Gift author is a case where the other party includes a list in return, and guest author is a term for similar authors, and in some cases, famous researchers are included in the list to increase the possibility of publishing papers.

    5. Mutual support authorization is a method of enhancing research productivity by signing an agreement between two or more researchers and listing the names of all contractors in all papers.

    6. The duplicate author is to publish the same content in several journals, which are also researchers who use it as a way to improve high research productivity.

    7. Ghost authoring refers to a researcher who is excluded from the list of authors of a thesis even though he/she holds the author's qualifications.

    8. The term "unfair author indication" means the inclusion of a person who has not made an important intellectual contribution related to the creation of research papers in the author list. In addition, even though it has made an important intellectual contribution, it is an unfair indication of the author even if it is excluded from the author list.

Article 3 (Matters to be Complied by Researchers)

    1. When presenting the research results as a thesis, the researchers should mark the person who contributed to the calculation of the research results as the author to ensure that the research achievements are reasonably distributed. In particular, conflicts of interest, such as funding, shall be submitted by specifying the funding information and the scope of support when submitting the thesis, and the editor-in-chief may request a separate book name.

    2. Candidates (first author, corresponding author, co-author, contributor, etc.) for the list of authors to be displayed according to the academic or research field shall be documented and recorded, including obtaining the consent of all authors and contributors. The KODISA editorial committee may request evidence related to this and must present it immediately upon request.

    Article 4 (Author Requirements)

    1. To become an author, you must meet all four criteria below.

A person who has contributed significantly to the concept or design of the study, the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of the study data

    A person who has drafted or critically modified important academic content;

The person who has finally approved the version to be published

A person who agrees to be responsible for all aspects of the study to ensure that questions relating to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the study are properly investigated and resolved

    2. The author should be responsible for the research he/she has conducted, and should be aware of which co-author is responsible for which part of the study. In addition, the author should be able to be sure of the research integrity of the contribution of the co-authors.

    3. All researchers recorded as authors must meet the above four criteria, and all researchers who meet the four criteria must be specified as authors.

    Article 5 (Order of Authors)

    1. The first author is a researcher who has conducted the planning, model planning, survey, statistical analysis, and documentation of the Plaintiff, and shall be marked as the first priority in writing the author in the paper. In no circumstances can more than two people be the first author.

    2. The corresponding author is responsible for the overall field of the thesis and is the responsible author as the corresponding researcher. Mark the author as the last author when marking the last author.

    3. Co-Author refers to the author after the first author, the second author, the third author, etc. are sequentially selected and marked according to the weight of the study, and the corresponding author refers to the researcher before the last notation. However, a contributor (contributor or acknowledged) refers to a person who does not qualify as a co-author but has contributed to the research.

Article 6 (Communication Work of the Corresponding Author)

    1. The correspondence author is primarily responsible for communicating with the contribution of the Plaintiff, peer review, and academic journals posted during the publishing process. In other words, you should be responsible for communication and usually be responsible for the administrative requirements of academic journals.

    2. The corresponding author should be able to contact KODISA editors in a timely manner throughout the thesis posting and expert screening process. In addition, after the paper is published, it should respond to the criticism of the paper and actively cooperate when KODISA requests additional data due to questions about the paper.

Article 7 (Acknowledment for Non-Author Contributors)

    1. Contributors who are not authors are researchers who do not meet all four conditions of authorship described in Article 4 (Author's Conditions) and should not be listed as authors, but should be given credit.

    2. Researchers who do not meet author requirements may be recorded as contributors in an acknowledgment or as participating investigators

    3. In addition, since the acknowledgment means confirming the contribution of the research data and conclusions, the corresponding author shall obtain written approval from all researchers displayed in the audit.

Article 8 (Measures against unjustified labelling authors)

If an unjustified labelling author is found, the editorial committee of KODISA shall take measures against unjustified labelling authors in accordance with Article 12 of the Research Ethics Regulations.
